VIENNA SHORTS is a qualifying festival for the Academy Awards® (Oscars), the European Film Awards, the British BAFTA Awards and the Austrian Film Awards. Every year we award prize money in the amount of more than EUR 30,000.

Regular Submission Deadline: January 5, 2027 (Non-Competitive Sections close with the regular Deadline)
Late Submission Deadline: January 31, 2027
We require a scan of the director's photo ID (e.g., passport, driver's license) as proof of Iranian residency. Once submitted, we'll process your application and keep you updated on its status.
